Working with the Sunninghill Construction team to continue an original project which was left unfinished when ISG stopped trading. The main College buildings were finished but the car parking and sports pitch support and drainage needed consideration.

Primarily a civil engineering project requiring involvement with investigating the existing drainage system to try to come up with a simplified and separate system to deal with the extended car parking and all-weather pitch run off.

The existing foul water needed to be rerouted around the pitch and the surface water was stored in an attenuation tank and discharged via a restrictor to a closer existing sewer.

The existing site under the pitch itself was a lower level and the perimeter site walls needed to be raised with stepped precast walls on reinforced foundations bases, on relatively poor ground conditions. These were all backfilled up to pitch level and the external faces of the walls were clad in brick to complete the boundary treatment. The new pitch was by a specialist.
