We are working with the GDS Surveyor team to redevelop a large quadrant of apartment buildings with courtyard gardens and car parking with soft and hard landscaping.
Primarily a civil engineering project requiring involvement with investigating the existing surface water drainage system to try to come up with a simplified approach to connect new drainage into this, provide new levels for the paving, new access ramps and steps, the existing large trees had to be retained and the surfacing had to remain generally level within the courtyard for access, and landscaping features were added. The entrance car park was resurfaced.
The existing drainage was not in great condition and local repairs were needed, with a few local diversions to suit new levels and gully locations.
Not our usual civil engineering project but interesting nevertheless.
