Another great local project is progressing well on site, with the foundations in and the steel frame partially erected and the drainage is also starting to be progressed.
The structure is a mix of reinforced concrete and steel framing and concrete ground slab and pad and strip foundations.
The civil engineering links the foul water to the existing main sewer and the surface water will be attenuated and discharged to soakaways, via a rainwater harvesting system.
It was a surprisingly tight site once the full-size pitch was set out and the stands and facility buildings were added. To complicate matter, the local sewer provider had a foul main in the area and a build near to was required, once we actually found it. The new pitch was by a specialist.
