Now here is another interesting project. We were appointed as structural engineers on this part listed 19th century manor house, to carry out a structural appraisal and to provide advice and detailing for the repair and alteration work to the building fabric, for the conversion back to residential.

The building was in poor condition after many years of being semi derelict with little or no maintenance. The front façade was to be retained and underpinned and the rear section of the original building was demolished. New apartments were constructed behind the front wall and tied in as work progressed with a new pitched roof.

The remainder of the site was cleared of trees and vegetation to create further residential units, some linked to the main manor house. Site work is progressing well and we are looking forward to seeing the finished product ! We will keep you updated with progress.
