Dalston Lane Hotel
About the project:
£3.5m design build project to deliver a 6 storey Premier Inn hotel on a very congested London site. Piled with steel frame up to podium slab at first floor level. Then timber framed for the next five storeys. An interesting aspect of this project was that the pile design and layout had to accommodate, in respect of vibration and settlement, the future Crossrail 2 construction which would take place in the future below this site. This required close liaison with the Crossrail 2 engineers through the design stage.
