We are back again at London`s Flower Show with one of the designers and exhibitors, this time for `Forge` building. This includes a scaled version of a forge building, constructed with dry stone walls with heavy timber framing with thatched roof and temporary, very shallow foundations, all within 450mm of make up above the existing ground level, only for the show. It even has a working model forge inside, which was not by us!

Site works are well underway and Westridge Construction are cracking on with both of these schools. Both schools will remain open during construction, which will be an interesting and challenging project to deliver the completed works. With careful planning the main works have been constructed during the summer holidays, to avoid clashing with important student education time...

The project is now on site and progressing well with the construction of 3 no. new build industrial units on an existing industrial estate, known as Phase 3. These were steel portal framed buildings with concrete mezzanine first floors and concrete ground bearing slabs, with piled foundations due to ground conditions and varying fill depths on site...

We are pleased to be working on another Ambulance Make Ready centre and 999 call centre for SECAmb (NHS). Design and drawing work are already up to completing stage 4 and almost ready for construction. Westridge were the successful contractor. The site is located on an industrial site on Bredgar Road, Gillingham, Kent. It is bounded by the existing industrial buildings, a major road link, and a railway line...

SWP are delighted to be working with Roffey Homes and the Cricket Club on this major upgrade of the facilities to the County Cricket Ground on Eaton Road, Hove. Phase 1 is located on the site of the existing pub and will comprise of a mixed use building. A nine storey reinforced concrete frame catering for off street parking, residential, commercial and a new pub. It will form the new entrance into the cricket ground itself...
